Add but never be able to modify or remove DNS services?
This application comes preloaded with more than a few DNS services (Google, Cloudflare, etc.). The user can also add additional DNS services with different options such as the IP, Name, Type (HTTPS, TCP,..). Very flexible indeed! Unfortunately, there is no option to modify a user added service once the add button is pressed. No editable text files with the info could be located either by this user. But there is an option to delete a user added service, so thats the trick right, just delete it and recreate it with new information = modify, right? Unfortunately this doesn't work and bombs the program immediately and brings up the ole 'crash report window' that gets sent to Apple, the developer, and all thier uncles of course. This was confirmed about 6/6 times on my M1 Macbook Pro. At least the 'reopen' button on the crash report window quickly reopened it each time. Bummer, but what did I expect? I got about 15 minutes out of this $0.99 app.
Straight and to the point.
Simply DNS when you need it.
A living app: ✓ purchased!
Dev updates the app frequently to fix | improve | or add features, and he is responsive in reviews. These activities by the developer make this a living app. I purchased wholeheartedly without hesitation when I see this. There may be quite a bit of work by the developer of a living app, for a price that is usually pretty modest for the amount of work which msy br required. The main idea is that living apps maintained by a small group or by a single developer provide value not only in themselves, but also for the comminity of users, creators, and people wrangling APIs and the OS and such. This is so important. Glory for Ukraine! I agree in league with the developer
