Confused
Awesome but in app free after update show up not free
Used to work now it doesn't
I'm expierencing multiple crashes and freezes whenever I use the app. I tried reinstalling to no avail. It was a great way to design and prototype SwiftUI applications.
Awesome StuffUI.. I mean awesome SwfitUI!
Still using this app! My employer's team and I are still on UIKit :( Been using this for personal use and its great. Ya'll rooock!
Very good news about
The only way you know
Exactly the right primitives - beautiful.
Most apps in this category clutter their menus with every possible widget you might need - buttons, navbars, modal views, etc. While some of those are useful, most can be quickly thrown together with a rounded rectangle here and there, occasionally a shadow or blur view at worst. This app nails the selection of primitives you might end up needing to build most any UI prototype. It's very limited and at first it may feel constraining, but over time you learn to ignore the urge to find 'the exact right component' and just blaze through UI prototypes with a few basic elementary shapes layered on top of each other. This works wonderfully for producing high quality mockups of your interface that you can export as SwiftUI, but obviously isn't really viable to ship as part of your app without substantial cleanup. That's okay! You shouldn't expect this tool to do that for you. Love the simplicity.
Love it
I asked around for a tool like this and other devs scoffed. I mean I know I could fiddle through random settings and try to stumble on what looks good. However as someone new to SwiftUI this lets me try many options and different styles quickly without firing up Xcode. It's a huge timesaver. I'd love to see more code hooks, for example specify variable names, break components into reusable pieces for example list rows, Swift Charts integration? This is really the missing piece for Xcode as far as I'm concerned. I will be upgrading mostly to support the devs since the free tier with five files is already quite generous.
Best "no code" design tool I've used
Although it's missing a lot of functionality of a fully-fledged design tool like Figma, I've found myself creating mockups of production looking UI in no time at all, and then being able to quickly copy the SwiftUI code and make it functional has totally been a game changer for me. I'm excited about the future, hoping to get more features like re-usable components, a canvas for looking at multiple screens, tab bars and navigation views, etc.
