Winmail.dat files
I purchased this to open previously unopenable files from others that came up as “winmail.dat”. Unfortunately, this application does not work to render those files as readable documents. You could say - gee, only $1.99, what do you expect? I expected it to work.

I purchased this downloaded software to be able to open and read some files sent to me for review. Not only could I NOT open the files to read them, but the software kept demanding that I spend another $7.99 or more to be able to do so. Had I known that it would not work without further $$ spent, I never would have bought the thing in the first place. I ended up deleting this app and finding one on the App Store for free that did the trick. I am new to the .dat file scenario, so maybe others who have more experience will have better luck, but my advice is to steer clear of this program unless you want to spend $$.

I have a couple of contacts whose attachments appear as winmaiI.dat files every time they try to send a photo. They're technically challenged so it’s no use asking them to do it differently... I tried a couple of other email viewers and all they did was display garbage. This one does the job!
