Ridiculous scoring
The scoring in this app as the title states is ridiculous. I have a TSR of 630 with my streak working on 500 and an engagement score of 110%. The reason for this post I have continually watched videos done the quizzes and usually score 100% I have watched fellow employees 8 to 10 points on their TSR catch me and even pass me. I engage with the app daily and earn points just to have them disappear the next day with no explanation. This has happened at least a half a dozen times. I missed a day due to a hospital visit and lost 2 points. The scoring makes no sense.
Right Idea but not Impressed
The Mobile Device app and the Desktop app are confusing and hard to navigate which makes managing the program for the company a challenge. This makes it really hard for administrators to assign the task of managing and over seeing it to someone. I have been using it for over two years now and still get confused when navigating the program. Another frustration that many of our employees express is the micro learning and point award system. In our company safety is paramount! So the idea of watching these short videos and taking the short quiz to keep up your “Streak” going to be awarded points which increases you “ES” score the idea of only being awarded (1) point every time you earn a streak badge the amount of time you invest for that streak badge to only get (1) point is not worth it. You watch (25) videos and take (25) quizzes to get (1) point. Which is the equivalent of earning (1) point every five weeks. The required work to point ratio isn’t worth the time invested. It’s discouraging to many of the employees. Another problem that I have personally experienced with the program is not being awarded points after you have completed the required videos and quizzes and received your streak badge. This has happened to me (3) times. I did not receive my “point” for my 350th, 375th and my 525th streak badges. Has to be some kind of glitch in the program. This has happened to others in our organization and apparently there is no solution for it. When we have inquired about “points” we have been told to go to our “watched” video history and rewatch and retake the quiz on all videos that we did not score 100% on. Apparently there is no other way to achieve points even when the program neglects to award points for streak badges achieved and completed. I give three star because I am in the “middle” on this app. There is room for improvement which if they do it will make things better but if something better is found or offered somewhere else we would not hesitate to make a change.

This app is a joke
My company takes this very seriously and when there is an issue with the system and my score goes down there is little to no help from the support. 3 times my score has gone down to system error and there response is there’s nothing they can do. Big waste of time. Just about all the videos are a joke, they think they are funny. Please look else where.
Failure to Notify
Ever since the new update, the app hasn’t sent notifications or shown the little red circle on the corner of the logo to let you know you have a task due. I lost a year-long streak due to this.
2.0
Tyfoom 2.0 is a huge step up from the original. Tyfoom is a great app that functions well.
Too much access
This app takes quite a bit of liberty with the access you give it. And it being required by companies makes this feel like forced invasion of privacy.
