Good but could be better
App works great except when you’re constantly moving around and scanning, the flash comes on and drains the phone battery. Highly recommend a setting to turn this off as most people will be scanning phone to phone, not phone to paper. The reflection of the flash will prohibit one from scanning the others code.
Conference Check In
I used TS Check In App for an annual non profit conference I help run. We had 3 different check in points for a 2 day conference. Training for the scanners was easy and reliability of accuracy of the app was great! We’ve used it for 3 years in a row now!
First Time TicketSpice User
5 stars for sure! Previous to using TicketSpice, I manually sold and collected tickets at the door. I had no idea what I was missing out on. I've switched to TicketSpice and never looked back. Here's to new and fresh technology that keeps my event ahead of the curve and even makes making the switch easy for old timers like me!
Game Changer!
Last spring I volunteered at the Capitol Beer fest where we used the TicketSpice app to scan in over 7,500 people in under 30 minutes. It was incredible. It made for a quick and enjoyable experience for both us volunteers as well as those day drinkers ready to enter the festival. :-)
Prevents Fraudsters
My event audience often has people attempting to use duplicate tickets. This app was fantastic in helping me not only identify fraudulent tickets, but it showed me what time and at what gate the other copy of the ticket was scanned in. This was incredibly helpful in allowing us to enforce no entry for the duplicate tickets and it allowed us to maintain the integrity of our event. Those fraudsters now know we use sophisticated technology, so hopefully they learned their lesson and won't be back next year. THANKS TicketSpice!!!!
Least Functional Ticket App Ever
Sure, it scans the tickets. Sure you can find names. But will it list all the attendees so you can see? Nope. Can you see who’s not checked in? Nope. Can I look before the event to see how my ticket sales are doing? Nuh uh. How about multiple events? No dice. It’s clearly designed to be only suitable for the ticket takers at the door, and that’s fine. But admins/managers/power users are confined to a desktop to be able to manage the event, and that’s just terrible.
