Can Support just tell us what devices and versions this app actually works with?
Doesn’t pair with my iPhone12, and hasn’t since LAST FALL! If the developers would at least release notes on what devices, versions, and OS’s were supported we wouldn’t be flying so blind. Super super disappointing. Don’t even bother with this app. Use the native Square Point of sale app instead.

I love my squarespace website but their mobile apps are so glitchy. The normal squarespace app has NEVER EVER worked for me leaving me with only the commerce app to use on my phone (don’t even get me started on the analytics app). Even the commerce app glitches quite frequently. Today I was trying to upload listings and it just won’t save the pictures, so I’ll have to get on my laptop and transfer the pictures from my phone to upload them to my website. Even their mobile web browser is HORRIBLE! If I move my listings I'm stuck with it glitched on my screen while I try to move the others??? I don’t know how they can get away with having such a terrible mobile experience for their users! All these issues and they’re trying to get their users to move the “main” squarespace app (the one that has never worked on my phone). I have an iPhone 11 so it’s not like I have some barely useable device I’m trying to work from. If you work from your phone a lot I would strongly suggest using a platform like Big Cartel or Shopify- their mobile apps are at least useable. Another update since I got a response: I have already contacted customer support and explained all my issues. Their response was they would pass on the bugs and glitches to the developers because they had no way to help resolve any of my issues with the app.

I saw some bad reviews saying this app does not work work with reader from Square. That is not true. It works great for our scout website and pack uniforms. We sell them in person and this app allows both manual entry and card swipe. Keeps track of cash payments too!

The option to connect the square card reader does not exist anymore. I followed the help article titled “Selling in person with Squarespace point of sale”. In step 2 “3. tap card readers” this button does not exist anymore. You guys really need to get your app together. It’s causing a lot of headache for businesses. Shopify seems to be the way to go these days…

United StatesSquare chip reader does not work
I have looked at all the instructions, videos and all the troubleshooting on connecting my Square Contactless Chip Reader and even been on the phone with Apple Techs and they are now sending the issue to their engineers. The issue is, I can connect my Card reader “once” to the SquareSpace Commerce app. But just once. Then when I went to do it for my next show, the connection failed. I have reset, reloaded, rebirths and rest all the softwares and equipment involved (iPhones XS, and 11 with older systems all the way up to 14.6 the latest Apple system software) till I am blue in the face. Can your engineers please test this and see if it works for them. I went with SquareSpace because of this set up for my inventory. (FYI: My mag stripe works)
