No matter how you set up notifications you will not get a notification from this app. And if you do get a notification from this app ( oh wait, you won’t) you can’t hear it. this app is junk and I wish my company would find a better one to use. The UI is bad. The uploading of information is bad. The loading of current properties is bad. The submission of inspections fails badly. The forms filled out do not always save, bad. The desktop web application is just as bad. You have fortune 10 companies using your system and it’s so slow on the website and the application. There is a reason this app has a 2.1 star review. People have no choice but to deal with it and not enough changes are being made to make this app any better than it was 6 months ago. It’s 2024. Update the UI to be more finger friendly, fix the pre-cache issues, make the website move faster.

Building Engines was garbage, Prism aka BE 2.0 is garbage. This is the only app I’ve ever used that does not show a badge, or red notification dot on the app when anything has been updated, commented, or a new work order has come through. The app takes forever to load and asks me every. single. time. if I want to download my work orders for offline work. No. No. No. I do not want to ever work off line so please stop asking me that. When I add a comment to message back and forth with the tenants, they never receive the message. It doesn’t matter if I toggle the “Hide from tenant” check box on or off, it doesn’t share the message with them. I finally figured this out by using the app and online at the same time. I could go on and on about the issues with this app. It’s no better than Building Engines, and I actually believe it’s worse.

While I was hoping for a better experience than the original building engines I got an good looking updated app, that’s performance is consistently disappointing. It’s to bad that the product does not perform as well as it looks.

1. Navigate directly into your work without making property selections or choosing to "skip and work online". 2. Tasks assigned to you or your team will automatically begin downloading, in preparation of potential time spent working offline. 3. Limited tasks data is being downloaded, as preparation for offline access, in order improve device app storage and overall performance. 4. Limited interactions are available while offline, in order to decrease the volume of data being stored on devices from the Prism app. 5. Creating Work Orders WHILE OFFLINE will temporarily be unavailable - returning to the app in June with scoping in place. 6. Labor can be added to tasks when offline without requiring a labor rate to be selected. 7. Labor Rates and Materials will not be prepared to be available offline. Meaning these cannot be added to tasks while offline - returning to the app in June with scoping in place. 8. Bug fixes and improvements.
