The Rendezvous Mobile Application is an end user interface for the NFS Workspace Meeting Room management software. It allows users to book meeting rooms and manage their meetings without the need to access the Web interface. Accounts are created by the customer in the main NFS Workspace Meeting Room management software and it is these accounts that will be used to login to the Application. Turn off wifi or this won’t load. Whole office learned that the hard way. Then any time you want to change one input in your search for a workplace, the entire thing resets. So mind numbingly frustrating that everyone’s basically stopped using it. Oh and don’t forget about the three step login process you have to follow. Every. Single. Time.

My company introduced this app to reserve a workspace in our new hoteling environment. It’s a huge PITA to log on, requiring a very laborious multi-step process that involves entering a rarely used ID code, an authentication code via text message, and your corporate password. Every. Single. Time. It took a while for everyone to figure out it just doesn’t work at all unless you disable WiFi on your phone. Seriously. If return to work reaches critical mass and workspace becomes a premium, this will have to be upgraded and made user friendly. Until then, hard pass.
