Easily input your animals into the app, then gather data around due dates, calving events and the historical calving tendencies of both your herd and the individual animals within. You do not need a Moocall Calving Sensor to use this app, but if you have one, you can also receive notifications announcing imminent calvings, and also conveniently set a ring tone to alert you to a calving event which will work over wifi when there is no phone signal available. You can also manage your device, change associated phone numbers and email addresses and see a history of your calving alerts. Moocall - perfect for farmers in both the beef and dairy industry who are calving cows.
Most recent update is great
Been using this app for a few years now, don’t have the actual moocall device, but use the app to manage my dairy herd. Gotta say… most recent update fixed issues I’ve been having for a long time. And the added options after you mark a cow as calved was desperately needed. Thank you!

The app includes everything I need for herd record keeping but it’s kind of clunky and outdated. Several examples. -When entering dates for info the date actually cannot be seen on the screen. I have to click at the bottom and it brings up a calendar. -It won’t let me view a list of all animals in my herd when I click on the “all animals” button on the main screen. I have to click on herd overview at the bottom. Which is fine but why is there an “all animals” button at the top then? -Birthweight option ranges from 1-100lbs. My shorthorn bull calf just born was 109lbs. I can’t correctly enter his weight. -Adding a new animal is also a little clunky. I really do like the concept and all the options for record keeping. My MooCall devise really gives me peace of mind too. However I hope to see a little more user friendly app at some point.

I love this app when it works! But lately it keeps asking you to save your info and won’t let you access your herd info!! Frustrating!!
