Glitchy and poor customer service
This app is often glitchy. Now it won’t open on my phone at all. I uninstalled and reinstalled it, made sure everything was up to date, etc. I tried contacting support in their chat and no one ever responded after several days.

For some reason on this update message threads can now only be read by a 1 inch window. Clearly this much be a glitch with another fix-update coming.

Looking for a Slack competitor that is completely free for small teams, has all of the basic chat functionality , and most importantly retains all of your data? You found the right place. It definitely lacks the breadth of feature Slack supports. And it occasionally has some bugs, mostly on mobile apps. But it’s the only free hosted service that doesn’t delete data that I am aware of. For free.

The app is constantly giving notification badges despite them all being read. It almost never scrolls the thread down when you or a teammate send a new message, leading to missed messages as you talk. Sometimes it requires a reboot to see your sent messages if too many are sent in a row. The whole app is very slow to load. These issues persist, granted less so, in the desktop app. The features are amazing but please fix the bugs.

Chanty has helped my team and I increase our productivity a lot. The best part is that any new team member of my growing team doesn’t have to worry about catching up. The unlimited chat history does the deed for all of us. Moreover, the multiple apps integrated within Chanty has helped us manage time by great lengths. This is one of my favourites for a collaboration tool.
