Hold covers still do not display correctly
The description of the latest update (4/18/24) says “Cover images on the Holds screen will now load the correct images.” No - that has not been fixed. I even logged out and logged back in and I still get the generic cover images for all the books I have on hold. The cover images on the other screens (Checked Out, Discover, various lists) display correctly. Why can’t the app coders fix the hold covers? Very annoying!
Very frustrating app
I typically don’t write reviews, but I am in the hopes that they YLN folks will listen. I don’t expect the old app to return, but please improve this one! My biggest complaint is that it is very slow to load. I use the app exclusively, not my library card. So the speed in which I can get to it (if it hasn’t logged me out) is cumbersome. It’s just not a great experience overall. I use it only because it’s what I have to use.

Goes to white screen have to delete app and download again, select library again, sign in again
Difficulties accessing ebooks in a readable format…
- also the app doesn’t seem to tolerate even the slightest variance to its not so obvious rules of entry for a search. Sometimes an author won’t be recognized, yet when the author’s book title is entered, it will come up.
Bring back the original!
After every 2 weeks or so it logs me out. Then, I have to re-enter my card number because it doesn’t save it. I also think the layout is not great. If you’re going to have a new app, don’t you think it should be better than the original?
Crashes
I have a book in mind that I want to put on hold, but every time I do a search it crashes and takes me back to the main page. I can’t search at all. I liked the old app, it was reliable and easy to use. Bring back the old app!
Doesn’t Work
This app doesn’t work at all. Crashes constantly. Can’t search for books without it crashing. Can’t place holds without error code’s popping up. Completely frustrating.
