My kids are very harsh critics when they come to book apps. We have downloaded dozens of them over the years and it is interesting to see how some of them are only read or used once and then forgotten (like any toy or any book) BUT in this case I have to say this is one book app that the kids return to again and again. I find it really interesting that they LOVE to say their worries into the little recorder but they also read it the whole way through. A new classic in my view.

I am a librarian and a mother. I have been a big fan of the Worry Woos and so was very interested to see what the book app for Wince Don't Feed the WorryBug. I have to say that in this case this app is excellent and is exactly what a book app should be. It takes the very best of the original book and brings it to life in the right way. Its not too complicated and there are no games on it...just a great story where there are spots in the story to interact. For instance they have a little recorder where you can say your worries and then it plays it back to you. I can really recommend this book app.

Our kids received the Worry Woos toys for a birthday present (a toy and book). We have become big fans of this line of toys and books. It is a really amazing and high quality idea. When we saw there was an app I downloaded it immediately and I was absolutely delighted. It has a great pace, a great story, funny characters and a really really important message for everyone.

Three cheers for a book that helps kids talk about their emotions in such an adorable and sensitive way. It really is a keeper!

If you like books like The Giving Tree or Where the Wild Things Are, then you will LOVE this book app. It is a new classic for sure. It has all the ingredients of those books that hold kids imagination, parents and kids love the message in the book and the drawings or actually they look like paintings are all stunning. A new classic that you will love to read to your kids.

As a Grade 1 teacher we like to get kids talking about emotions and feelings. This is a wonderful story we can read in the class or in small groups. The kids adore the monster and we have all taken turns recording our worries into the little recorder. I have had some hilarious 'worries' from kids about hoping they will not have too many vegetables for dinner to some really serious and touching stuff about families and the worries kids sometimes have. Its a great book app.
