Stop deleting authors and stories!!!!
I already hated that they decided to delete the private message feature, but now they are deleting accounts of authors I love, and deleting their stories too! And some stories that haven’t been deleted haven’t been giving me notifications when they add new chapters! Wattpad needs to listen to the needs of the readers! Please don’t delete these author’s accounts and stories! And now their stories are gone forever even if they get a new account! It’s a terrible thing! Wattpad, please don’t destroy the enjoyment I have of reading these stories! :(

Wattpad peaked in 2014. Now, they’re killing the app by removing such an integral part of it: messaging. Yall took away the status bar, profile feed, and now DMs. Sad sad sad.

This app used to be great. It used to be a place where amateur writers could have a free platform to write and receive feedback in a constructive manner. Unfortunately however, this app is now unusable. In terms of reading, there are literally ads every chapter, not to mention that you now have to pay to read certain books as well as pay for a subscription just to get rid of the ads. I’ve been on this app for a long time, back when you could stay up for hours reading without any interruptions, or back when the voting system was a helpful tool to get books published. It’s very sad that the app has changed so much in an unnecessary way.

I’m still going to use the app despite all of this but.. 1. Keeps logging me out 2. Dosent keep my books in order when I add them, they don’t pop up in my library right away and I always have to refresh or they don’t show up at all. I would have to open the book and save it in library for it to work. 3. TOO MANY ADs! I don’t have to explain that one. 4. Very long refreshing.. takes very long just to refresh 5. Private DMs are gone, bring them back. 6. My notifications don’t work right for some odd reason. 7. When I first got my account I had to switch my email and confirm it but it never came.. i looked back to a very old email and tried it but it never asked again… the system needs to be fixed..
