Falsely represents the Organization

This is NOT approved or sanctioned by watchtower. Do not download this, it illegally copies the wol website and monetizes it through ads. Disgusting.

I Don’t Understand!!😕😕

I know that their are brothers and sisters out there who really want to help the friends. They might have found an easy way to do something for many who have similar problems. But I am curious, what does this app have that we can’t get from the app made available by Jehovah’s faithful slave? Are you saying it wasn’t meeting everyone’s needs? Dear brother, I am sure that you have seen some apps on here that use the word Jehovah or Kingdom and claim to have everything our brothers and sister's need. I use to look around and I downloaded one. They even had podcast for apostate teachings. I think you have good intentions but don’t you think that if we are giving the friends alternatives to the Jw.org app, that we can end up being responsible for pulling them away from listening to the faithful and discreet slave and may actually be partly responsible if they end up looking at some app with apostate teachings. I am sure you would never want that to happen. But if we are making apps that basically have everything that we can find on the jw.org app, couldn’t it put a picture in someone’s mind that maybe we are saying are app offers something you can’t find on the official app and if the friends see a lot of apps like that and choose to look for other apps, it may lead to apostate teachings. Wouldn’t that make us a little responsible for stumbling them. We are all taught to be united in our worship and for getting it all from the same source. Please don’t get me wrong. I am not suggesting the friends can’t make a useful app. Like I was thinking I would love to have an app that would help me with my bible reading to keep track of it. I was imagining a shell app that got the Bible chapters we need directly from the jw website. I would like that app to show me that the Bible chapters are directly from the jw.org website. And that shell app uses that information but basically has the different ways we can read our Bible, you know like chronically and other ways. But that it is obvious that the only part of the app that you are assisting the friends with is by using it to record where we are and to use it as a system to keep track of where we are in our Bible reading and to show ourselves what we are reading next every day with whichever way we are reading it this time. I like apps that clearly show me the source of my information and teachings, showing me that the information I am getting is directly from the jw.org website but that the apps purpose is to offer us a way to organize myself. Like I enjoy an app that gets the daily text from the jw.org website. It is a shell that allows the source be from the jw.org website but the only purpose the app was made for was to remind us in an organized way to do our daisy text for the day. The primary use for the app is to send us reminders by text to do our daily text. Your app said that it has a podcast available. In my mind, when I hear a app that says is made for Jehovah’s Witnesses to give us all the information we need like jw org app is made for and I hear it offers pod cast. That scares me. I don’t think our website has podcast but I can be wrong. But it scares me when a “supposed Brother” includes a podcast. I think it could be a way to draw us away from the Bible’s healthful teaching. It reminds me when Shoop’s started offering books to the friends. I saw a title that blew my mind away. It was something like “what it is like to be black in Jehovah’s organization. Without opening a page and I wouldn’t, the title made me think of prejudice and a lack of unity. That their is a separation between us and our brothers and sisters of a different color or culture. I know this is a long message. I hope it doesn’t sound preachy. I just thought you may want to think about the different type of apps we make and sell or just offer to our friends. And what they mean.

Scam

This app leads you to believe it’s a JW org app, But it’s not. It then will lead you to believe you need to enter credit card info to confirm identity and then start making multiple unauthorized charges to your credit card via a company named cydcl.xyz out of Florida. BEWARE!!!

I was excited . . . until

I saw an individual listed as author. Not from JW. I was excited when I thought I could get WT Library on my iPad. Too bad.

Don’t be fooled, Not from JW

Don't be fooled. Apparently this is not an official JW app it looks very similar. So I think it’s designed to look like it comes from the brothers which makes it dangerous. Like one of the other reviews there is a developer, and its not JW like the apps that are from the brothers. I didn’t realize it till I read the reviews, I almost opened it, now of course I won’t, Thank you brothers and sisters for letting me know in your reviews. Im adding this review to add to the other warnings.

Riddled with ads

Genuinely faster to access the Watchtower Library through a regular browser instead of clicking through ads. Went through at least 5-6 video ads within a couple of minutes when trying it. Shameful way to overly monetize something useful.
