Problem with the new version
Updated today and now there is a verification process through Cloudflare, only problem is, that it does not verify. It says that verification is slower than usual and to reload page if problem persist. Well reloaded about 20 times, deleted app and reloaded that but there is still no way to get verified. My books are not available to me now and there is nobody to call

The way to write notes and overall yo is extremely janky and hard to use. It also sometimes glitches and doesn’t work, so I need to reopen the app many times. It connection with the book buying store seems quite good in my experience. It also doesn’t track the time spent on the app well so I can’t see how much I read. I would recommend making note taking easier and to make an in app time spent reading feature.

I really want to like the app, but I can’t. It has too many flaws. To download a book is a major hassle as it will just not download automatically, no matter what I do. I was in contact with support, a.k.a. the bookstore, where I buy my audiobooks from which are supposed to go through tolino, but they were literally useless as well. At least there is some consistency in some thing, lol. there are enough audiobook apps out there, where to Lena could get some ideas from so that the user could actually have a folder with new books/unread books, books read, books and progress, etc. so considering how super basic this app is, it is unbelievable that it still does not work.

I originally downloaded this app two years ago, Jan 2021 and it worked fine although I only listened to a couple of books back then. Just this week I bought a few more books and the app will just not download them. No matter what. I deleted and reinstalled the app, checked the settings, all is ok - yet still no download. This is serious nonsense and now I don’t know how to listen to my audio books from Thalia 🧐🙈 I’ve been using Chirp and Audible without any issues whatsoever so I really don’t understand what’s going on. And of course there is no support to be found which I find the oddest thing. Therefore one star and a big kick in the butt!!!

I like to read German books, and Hugendubel has backdoored a Tolino for me, so I can sometimes avoid buying from Amazon. Yay! With the app I can read the books bought through Hugendubel on my iPad or on the Tolino.
