Same as the rest sadly
Just like the other this I am unable to add a book after adding just one! I have the other apps by then and there great, but this app clearly isn't a priority as most of these reviews are pretty old at this point for a major issue with no fix. The saddest thing is that they clearly COULD did the search feature since it works so well on their other similar apps. And to be clear: Without searching, you cannot add a book. This app is sadly useless as is!

Love the original iShows app and concept, having been using for years. Started using the Books app and like the idea - I am constantly frustrated by lots of the books missing artwork, and the inability to add your own to books. This alone would make this app prettier and more functional for me to continue to use.

This is a very pleasing app. Nice animations and flow, but many of the books in search results are duplicates or are missing cover art.

I love iShows TV. It’s useful. This app, though… - It needs a “Reading” category. No, I don’t want to use the Favorites feature for that. Like iShows TV, show how many people are reading a book. - It needs a “Wishlist” category. I can have books I own that are To Read, but there needs to be a separate category for books I don’t own yet. - There should be a “buy” feature relevant to iOS users. Link to iBooks, Amazon, or Audible. Include your affiliate link, but let me buy from somewhere besides the Google Play Store. - Same with the Share feature, which only links books to the Google Play Store.

Your TV and movie apps are great, book and video game however are terrible.

Much like the other reviews here I am unable to add a book in the app. When I first used it I was able to add a couple of books (one I have read and another I want to read) as a test but when I returned later in the day to add a few more books I was unable to find any.
