حكاية هذا الكتاب تعتمد أساسا على كتاب "سيرة ومناقب عمر بن عبد العزيز" لصاحبه ابن الجوزي. ومع ذلك إذا كانت الأحداث الكبرى المتضمنة تتفق مع الروايات التاريخية، فإننا لا ندعي أن التفاصيل (الملابس، الحوارات،...) صحيحة ودقيقة.

The content of the book is mainly based on the historical version of "Sirat wa mana9ib Omar ibn Abdelziz (Life and Qualities of Omar Ibn Abdelaziz)" by Ibn Al Jawzi. However, if the major facts are consistant with historical accounts, we do not claim that the details (clothes, dialogues,...) are authentic.
