I have had this app for years and paid for the ad free portion. Since around August of last year there has been nothing but issues. I have sent multiple reports and emails and get no response. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app multiple times and it still won’t open stories, all I get is that it cannot connect to the server. Whoever maintains this app needs to get it together.

I downloaded this app and tried to search up a story and immediately got bombarded with ads. I was a little irked but was sorta expecting something like this. I wait patiently for the ad to end and then i try to click the X to continue onto the app and it won’t let me. I am just stuck staring at an ad. I thought it was maybe just a glitch and tried closing out the app and starting again for the same thing to happen. I can’t even start doing anything on this app because all i keep on seeing is ads and that’s literally it.

Ad after ad after ad literally as soon you boot up the app, ADS galore and depending on what kind of phone you have you can’t click x to exit the ad. Now if somehow you’re lucky enough to get through and find a story you’d like to read, you won’t get pass the first sentence because another ad pops up immediately afterwards.

I have been an ad-free subscriber for years with several hundred saved stories in my library. Until the developers updated for “better security” with the “are you human” feature, that is. For at least the past 6 months I have been unable to access ANY of my stories. Thinking I had a corrupted file I deleted then reloaded the app, losing my library. The app is still unusable and it is locked in a “are you human” captcha loop with no chapters’ text available. I have submitted numerous bug reports with no response. So sad.😞

I’ve loved this app for years and paid for the ad-free version. I even tolerated it when they first added the captcha. I can handle doing it every 20-25 chapters. Now, it’s just a useless app taking up a spot on my Home Screen. Not only can you not update stories, you can’t even read old stories that don’t have any updates. I’ve been waiting months for this app to start working again and continue reading my stories but I’ve had enough. As much as I’ll miss reading original works on this app, I’ve found different apps to read from that actually work. Would’ve rated this app 5 stars before all this stuff started making it useless. PLEASE FIX, PLEEEEASE!
