The mobile version of Sonic Mania is a good way to enjoy the platformer that revived Classic Sonic gameplay. However, it is not without flaws. Immediately upon entering the game, something felt off about the music. It felt slower than it did on consoles and PC. I thought it was just me, but then I got into the game. During the first cutscene on Angel Island, the white noise emitted by the Phantom Ruby felt bugged. There was occasionally this weird, inconsistent beep coming out of my speakers, as though two sounds had overlapped. “Okay… Hey, it’s a nice change though. I like it beeping!” But this delay is everywhere. The end of level results screen, instead of making a tick noise every time a value changes, does so every few frames instead. Hey, on the plus side, it’s perfectly in-sync with the score labels flying into the screen! The slowed down sounds had initially led me to think that maybe my iPhone 11 just isn’t capable of running this game… But nope! Aside from the sounds, the game itself felt exactly as fluid to play! …If it were not for the somewhat awkward control scene and UI. They work for what they do, though. I do also appreciate them putting in the effort to adapt the original menus for mobile phones and touchscreens. The main menu UI also has icons which do not seem to have the correct pixel alignment, and even feels somewhat unresponsive. It does remind me of the 32X games, or certain GBA games… As for the touchscreen controls, they could have taken a page off of the Taxman ports of Sonic 1 and 2, or better yet, Sonic CD. They work, but they do feel a little small. I’ve only played through Green Hill zone, since Blue Sphere stages, and the first special stage as of the time of writing, but I would already recommend the Steam version over this if you can get it. However, if you already have Netflix this game comes free of charge anyway, so go have fun! A change of control scene had always made a game more freshly-replayable for me. This is also the closest official thing to S3&K natively running on iOS without any risky/complicated workarounds. Imagine they ported Sonic Origins here… I do wish I could move my Steam save files here. But I don’t mind playing the game all over again… In a nutshell: Slightly slower sounds and music compared to original version which leads to unseen artifacts regarding noise, awkward UI, but gameplay that is perfectly smooth and fluid like the originals. Good job, Netflix Team!

The first time I installed Sonic Mania Plus - NETFLIX on my iPhone, I managed to play quietly, however, I left a part of the game to play later because I had a full schedule, the other time I went to play sonic mania, the game came in and told me to take the Netflix account from some other device, there was not even time to click on proceed and the game reset, returned to the screen of account and password, I put my account and password and it gave a very strange error, it says that my Netflix account is not updated or paid and for this account I am not able to play, however, I pay my Netflix every month, and besides I can log in and play ALL THE GAMES OF NETFLIX and never gave this problem, I have already uninstalled and installed the game several times but it is always giving this problem, so I gave 3 stars, fix this bug right away, or if it is only me, contact or answer this review, because I
