Hypertension Awareness Connect

The Hypertension Awareness Connect app is an app that focuses on the user’s holistic wellbeing by helping them keep track of their health parameters ranging from basic parameters like height, weight, etc to also any lifestyle-related medical ailments that they may have such as Hypertension, Diabetes, etc.
 
To use the app effectively to monitor and track his/her vital parameters, the user will first need to sign-up and register in the app.

User Registration 
The user registration module will have the following fields for the user to sign up for the app once s/he downloads the app on her/his phone. 
	a. Name 
	b. Age 
	c. Gender 
	d. Email address 
	e. Mobile Number 
	f. City  
	g. Profile Photo  
	h. Doctor’s Name 

User Onboarding 
Once registered, the user will be asked to enter basic information about him/her viz 
	a. Height 
	b. Weight 
Upon entering the basic parameters, the user will need to choose the ailment that s/he wants to monitor and track viz:
	Choose Diseases 
a. Hypertension 
	b. Diabetes 
	c. Dyslipidemia 
	
Set Notifications reminders:
Users can set reminders to be notified of certain tasks that can help them lead healthier lives. For example, a user can set the following reminders in the app and get notified at the appropriate time:
	a. Go to Sleep – This will ask the user her/his normal time to sleep & accordingly set the notification 
	c. Monitor Blood Pressure - Ask the user her/his BP monitoring timing & accordingly set notification 
	d. Monitor Blood Sugar - Ask the user her/his Blood Sugar monitoring timing & accordingly set notification 

HealthKit (iOS) Integration
Integrate the app with HealthKit to sync the data captured via HealthKit with Hypertension Awareness Connect.
	
Tracking:
The app also has a feature to track the daily steps that the user walks / runs and saves the data in the user’s profile. This helps the user in moving towards and leading a healthier lifestyle.

Additionally, users will have an option to add the following parameters on a daily basis 
1. Weight 
2. Water Intake 
3. Sleep Hours 
4. Blood Pressure 
5. Temperature 
6. Sugar 
7. Other vitals Hb1Ac, Lipid, etc.

Steps counter:
The app has a step counter integrated as a part of the overall user-health tracker. The app is programmed in such a way that the steps are counted even when the app is in the background or has not been launched by the user. 

Push Notifications 
Push Notifications have been integrated into the app to send out updates via notifications to all the users regularly informing them about various reminders and notifications configured as mentioned in the feature list above. 

Informative content 
The app has informational content related to various diseases and FAQs that are updated regularly for the user’s benefit.
