The gas level measuring device uses ultrasound to measure how much gas is left in the cylinder and displays the result in the app. Attach the LevelControl to the bottom of the cylinder, open the app, check the gas level – it couldn’t be easier! The new LevelControl app also gives you the option of using Bluetooth to check the gas level. This functions conveniently and reliably in the vehicle and outside it when within range. Unsure about accuracy
Installed the level control about a week ago once I knew both 11kg bottles were full but after one week of using gas for heating at night, hot water, sometime fridge usage it is still showing as 100% in the app. Maybe I’ll be pleasantly surprised by how far 2 * 11kg bottles of gas will go but at the moment the jury’s out on the accuracy of the device.

Hi the set up of the sensor and app was quick no easy; all completed with minutes. However I cannot see the estimated remaining days based on gas usage? The bottle is currently 100%; does the app need to detect usage before it provides this data? Do I receive low level warnings to my device via bluetooth when in range if I do not have an iNet box? Estimated remaining days are not displayed? This is listed s a function but don’t appear to see the data? Is this displayed as the gas starts to be used?
United KingdomMissing some UK Calor bottle sizes
I received one of these for Christmas and have tried to set it up today. Tried first with a 6kg Calor propane and it worked okay. Then switched to a 13kg bottle and couldn’t reconfigure the App. I think from reading some App reviews that this size is not pre-configured but I had assumed I had not done things correctly. This bottle size is commonly used in the UK. Can the App be enhanced to include it?

Been using this device for one year in my MH with the gaslow system. Firstly I want to point out how I set it up as I was told that it would not work with this set up. I have an 11 and 6kg set up. I open both valves and place the device on the underside of the 11kg bottle (the bottle needs to be propped up to give about 30mm of extra clearance as the device won’t fit on the base of the 11kg bottle without this) then I simply stated in the settings that it was an 11kg bottle and it worked perfectly. The fact that the 6kg bottle is permanently linked has no relevance to the readings as I’m only interested in the percentage of gas in the 11kg bottle ie: when is says I have 100% then I have 17kgs of gas, when it reads 50% I have 8.5 kg and so on… One thing that happens maybe once every 2 months is that it reads all the settings by exactly half, strange but it rectifies itself within hours. Other than that minor issue I would strongly recommend this product and I was sceptical as it cost £130 but it does exactly what I needed it for.

I have set it up manually however I’m not convinced It’s that accurate. It’s also very intermittent in getting a reading. I will probably be sending the unit back for a refund.

Have been trying to get this to register a level for days it’s either 100% or 0% it’s clearly not working.
