The app freezing a lot specially when trying to view basket took way too long to order food … not worth the hassle for the offer

I visited the Wakefield branch recently and they had an offer on. It said by downloading and ordering from the app would give you a discount. The shop also opens at 1PM but the app it only shows the Sheffield branch opening at 4PM, no other shops or offers. Disappointing.

Firstly the prices are a good quid more than the shop menu. Secondly used it for delivery and app said cooking, then ready then completed. I was still waiting for delivery 2 hours later! Went to pickup instead and my order still wasn’t ready. Unbelievable. Don’t bother using for your order update or rassams generally for delivery for that matter.

I really like the food from Rassam’s. The problem is I’ve never had an issue with the speed of my takeaway in the past when ordering from deliveroo. The app sends automatic updates and time estimates- which is useless because they don’t correlate to the actual status of your order. I rang up one and a half hours after ordering and told there were 4 orders in front of me! I have a feeling this is because they put the deliveroo and external orders first- to stop bad ratings. Very disappointed that my food came two hours late.
