Kia Connect: Connected Services The Kia Connect app allows you to access a suite of remote services for your connected vehicle, like starting your vehicle, checking the vehicle status, scheduling a charge and more! The App also features diagnostic tools, roadside assistance and more! Kia Connect enables and empowers you while you are on the go, giving you access to your Kia from your workplace, home, or just about anywhere. Access the app with your user-email, password, and PIN to take advantage of Kia Connects features. Log in and send commands conveniently using biometric authentication (fingerprint or face recognition). Could not be worse?
Even at free I cannot imagine an app functioning any worse. Does not start the car 50% of the time and does not even inform you that remote start has failed.
CanadaDoesn’t work, no support
Had my new car for 3 months and Kia Connect has never worked. Only support is by phone and have called and waited on hold 20+ minutes on multiple occasions and nothing. Suspect no one is on the other end of this line. I registered my car the first time I signed up, but every time after I try to sign in it tries to have be re-register my vehicle again (it remembers my VIN number). If I humour it and continue to register it says “This vehicle is already registered to another user” I can’t even log into the app because it just asks me to re register my vehicle on a loop. I’ve tried deleting the app and re downloading it, resetting my password, all kinds of trouble shooting I can think of. The demo mode of the application looks nice but not available to me I guess. First time Kia buyer and my experience with this dumb app that Kia speaks highly of is on par with my Kia customer service experience so far. Thanks Kia

When I tried to login it just kept spinning. There was no error message, no time out message, nothing. Support is nonexistent. Total garbage.
CanadaFunctions Not working.
The app was working OK until the last two updates. Prior to that you could actually check the status of the car and the location as well. But after the last two updates all the functions to check the status of the car and to make any changes to the charging functions is not possible anymore. This is really pathetic app by Kia.

Why is such a basic feature - find destination on your phone and then send it to car navigation is not available in North America? Make the app basically useless and not worth subscribing

I have a Kia niro ev and I bought the subscription so I can have control over the climate while I charge. I can’t control the climate about 80% off the time as it can’t connect to my car. It’s complete waste of money. Also you have to present the climate controls on your computer not within the app. Come on Kia get some good user experience experts on your time and make this app something worth spending money on. Incredibly disappointed that in the is age of technology this app is not user friendly nor does it connect to my ev. Ridiculous!!
