Privacy invasive: insists on phone #
Why should I have to give out my phone number to join a points program.? So it gets leaked to the wild the next time Scene gets hacked? Scene: you are not a bank. A secondary email address would be sufficient for 2 step verification. The slim offerings of this points program don’t warrant this invasion of my privacy. See ya, Scene. I never knew ya.
Redeeming points
It’s rare that I can redeem my Scene points for credit on my card in the app. It tells me repeatedly that an error has occurred and to try again later. I need to try many times over a number of days before I reach a point where I can redeem. Last time I wanted to redeem $100 but $50 was my only choice, even though I had enough points for $100. Very frustrating!!
