The RPAS Advance Operation test by Transport Canada is very challenging. Most questions have nothing to do with small RPAS. This app have a lot of informations and helped me greatly. Unfortunately only a handful of the 500 plus questions I practiced with were on the tests I took. I would say about 1/3 of the exams questions weren’t part of the course. Perhaps I got some updated TC Exams... In any case, make sure to have the regulation ready to go when writing the exam. I did not pass on my first try after finishing the course so don’t be discouraged if you fail as well. This wasn’t my first time writing TC exams as I am a professional mariner who holds several TC certs. Nonetheless I would recommend the app for anyone looking to get a solid foundation.

I am still in the process of going through the modules. The course format is very well done. However, I am puzzled about the occasional updates that are being downloaded when I get a pop up message regarding course content and questions updates: how do I know which has been changed? I can’t find anything in the menu that would direct me to information about uploaded amendments. I can’t believe I would have to go through each module again to try to find what has changed!

This is a very well made app. Everything is well thought and explained. You have a lot to learn and this app helped me a lot in understanding what’s all about flying and regulations. Didn’t finish all the stages and after a week I took the exam....the summer is so short in Canada . I passed!!!!! But I have to warn you that 70% of the questions that I had in the transport Canada exam didn’t appear in this app. I was not lucky I guess. Nothing about clouds,weather and stuff like that. I had a lot of questions related to maps and on my iMac it was impossible to zoom....it was hard to understand something. But overall I guess all the knowledge gained here helped me. And this winter I’ll start preparing the advanced exam. Thank you

If you are serious about passing the Transport Canada RPAS exam, this is the way to prepare for it efficiently. It’s a very well thought out and organized course with excellent diagrams and explanations. You can go through each lesson at your own pace and pick up where you left off on any of your iOS devices, because your data is stored in the cloud. You can take as many practice tests as you want until you feel confident enough to take the TC exam. It lets you focus on subjects that you are not very good on, so you can pull up you marks quickly. I used this over the past two weeks and then took the Transport Canada exam yesterday with a mark of 94%. It’s a pricey app, but well worth it for the time you’ll save.
