Amazing app for tax filing
This app is absolutely amazing !!! I didn’t know tax filing was this easy and could be done with your phone. It’s easy and fast and it does all the checks for you before submitting to CRA.
CanadaFile yes, but can’t download the same return unless you pay
Filed, but can no longer view unless you pay. Can’t download the pdf unless you pay. If you want a free tax program, there are many more that offer much much more.
CanadaInaccurate for me
I had always done our simple returns using desktop software. Decided to see if I could manage on a mobile app. I didn't manually enter anything other than answer a few basic questions, and the refund this app created (using CRA auto-fill) was $43. I made sure all T4 slips and forms were input. When I went back to my iMac to use another software, doing the exact same thing (CRA auto-fill) our return was $3,600. I always enter out date into two programs to ensure they're similar or exact. This year, one was WAY off. Had we submitted without verifying with other software, we'd have lost over $3,000.
CanadaLogin is broken
When I attempt to log in with my username and password the login button changes colour, a spinner appears and becomes unresponsive. App is not usable for me. Website works great though
CanadaNot all features worked on my iPad
The app worked great for the most part, but I wasn’t able to download or print the PDF of my return and I wasn’t able to successfully import my slips from CRA or upload photos or files of them. Fortunately I don’t have a lot to enter and I did so manually. Good enough for a free app.
