Australiai've been using this a while
the app is fine but the service leaves a lot to be desired. i book a collection for x day, i check for a time, it says between 7 and 8. nobody shows up. i had to choose another slot 2 weeks away, woke up on the day, my booking disappeared. multiple times i've not received a time at all and no message to say they're unable to make it after all. i have no way of getting 20+ bags to the depot and wheeling it all the way to the markets in a trolley in the heat on dodgy paving isn't going to work because i've done it before.

I had 6 bags . I Counted over 100 containers per bag for 4 of the bags - the other two bags had larger containers in them I didn’t count those bags . I expected that the total count would be around 600 - 500 based on ; ( 120 x 4) + ( 50 x 2 ) Re collect counted 320 which is certainly grossly incorrect . I gave feed back through the app , I will update this review based on the response.

Not clear on what the “service fee” is anywhere. Makes me not want to book a collection and lose money. Even when you go to book a collection it isn’t mentioned anywhere

Our family has really taken to using ReCollect for our recycling. It’s super convenient and the kids love being involved in anything recycling! Would recommend to any family looking for alternative ways to recycle with ease

I really appreciate the service notifications sent to my email when the driver is about to arrive. This gives me a chance to get the bags ready and place them out front right before they arrive without worrying if they will be left out front for too long where birds can get to them for example. Also if you are not present when they collect the bags, they take a photo to show that they have been to your address already. In addition, they count the bottles quickly too, usually within the same day of collection. Thanks ReCollect for making recycling more convenient!
