Road side assistance
Put in request for road side assistance and now I can’t track it because it can’t find it I m only a 5 minutes drive from NRMA depot and it told me I had to wait an hour for assistance Not good enough
OK for finding information but poor for making bookings
The app is ok for finding information about discounts and other benefits but is FAR from a seamless experience. Much room for improvement. When you make any bookings or buy tickets for anything it just redirects you to the NRMA website, where you have to re-input all your information again (including your NRMA membership number stored in the app). Would it not work better to have all the personal info pre-populate (at least) when you buy tix etc from the App when it hands off? Even better, allow you to use Apple Pay or whatever other method than manually inputting a credit card each time and book WITHIN the app?

Too slow and too many questions to sign up for EV charging
NRMA can’t detect and fix battery
Had NRMA come out in morning. I was told no issue with battery and to drive it. I did this. 3 hours later. Car won’t start as battery dead. Big fail. Joe have to wait 2 hours for NRMA. 0/5.
System Failure
Phone system didn’t work at all, told me to call back later, very helpful when you’re broken down
Battery replacement
Good quick call out Serviceman was polite and got me back on road in 15mins after arriving.
Depends how you use it
So, for breakdown, it’s actually pretty good. And I guess that’s its primary use case, so if that was it then it would be 5*. Then you add additional functionality to it and that experience is terrible, so why bother making a good app bad? For example, the whole rewards thing is just plain awful. Filtering, sorting etc is just a mess with Cinema tickets mixed in with zoo tickets and any old thing. Ah yes, was I going to catch the 6pm showing of Dune? Oh no, I was going to look at a Giraffe, that’s right. Easy mistake to make, thanks for jumbling those together to remind me. Even if you do persist through that nonsense then you go to pay. And you will like this. Even though you are logged into the app, the app has absolutely no idea who you are. “Enter your member number”. As in the member number you gave me!? I have to look IN THIS APP to find said member number. Tell you what sunshine, why don’t you look up my member number for me, like, you know, every other app on earth does!! Gave up at that point as had to navigate out to try and find it. The world is worried AI is going to take over but NRMA can’t even link your details together. Bring on the AI overlords I say.
