Description
Monash University
AAT-App is designed to test whether a certain type of “brain-training” helps users reduce their alcohol consumption and craving. The app tests a form of brain-training that is designed to change your reactions to alcohol-related images, and helps you monitor your alcohol consumption and cravings. Researchers from Monash University are currently trialling this app in order to test how effective it is.

It actually works!

I’ve not had a drink in three weeks since using the app. Simple to use, quick and effective. The images I uploaded of my favourite drinks no longer fill me with the same level of excitement, and I’m doing a lot of my positive images. Feel great! hope it lasts!

The images get mixed up

Second day in, and I find that often the alcohol images are horizontal and I have to swipe down (accept them) or get the red cross. Likewise the positive images that I chose come in vertical and I have to reject them by swiping them away. Is this a design fault or something that is intended?
