Confusing mechanics?
The clothes are pretty cute and the idea of a idle tapper merge game is a new one I don’t really see around at all, so that was intriguing. But there are certain mechanics I am confused as to why they exist. You have an ad buff to double money production. But it’s basically worthless because there is only one substantial use of money in this game and that’s to upgrade your clothes store, which gets locked behind the money limit tied to your highest level clothing. You can buy the occasional clothes you unlock in your closet, but it’s such a small amount that regenerates in a matter of seconds. The level up system is also pretty redundant and you could really remove it. At first it unlocked a few things. But afterwards, it’s clearly just a number to make you feel good. It doesn’t replenish energy as there is no energy system, give rewards or unlock new locations. It’s just there. This game promised me story and I’m not seeing it anywhere at all at level 35 with a lvl. 17 clothing item. After the tutorial, NO ONE talks to you. Your own avatar stops talking. You feel so alone and upgrading your store quickly loses its lustre as you don’t even see customers or anything. This game just feels so empty and bare bones, yet potential is there. EDIT: I had to delete the game because I board locked myself and there was no trash can to discard clothes. Huge bummer.
