Terrible app updates
I’ve had this app for years but just deleted it after the new update. Over time I’ve added loads of recipes to my collections, yet on the app, it only shows a max of 50 per collection. Log into the website and all are showing. Have contacted Taste twice to report this with no response so why would I continue to pay for an app that isn’t working?
Love the recipes but app NEEDS WORK
After a quick read of others reviews (old and new) seems there’s big problems not being addressed. Have been happily subscribing for 5+ years, and hoped the latest update would solve some problems, but some have just been made worse. Firstly - the same as many others - saving a recipe to a cookbook and then looking for it in the cookbook & it’s not there. Frustrating! Secondly - organisation or filter tool in cookbooks would be great. I’d love to be able to sort my recipes alphabetically. Third - since logging into the new app with my old account, I have double ups of cookbooks, but I’m unable to merge them or copy recipes over into the newer one. The look of the new app is nice though, search function is good and recipes are easy to read. I don’t want to stop subscribing, this is a great service that helps me cook awesome dinners for my family. Really hoping these issues are fixed asap, especially when we are paying for it! Thanks.
Frustrating
Despite complaining through the email, i haven’t been able to add anything to my favourites since the update despite trying it on many different platforms. Phone! Tablet! Computer! I am quite annoyed at having to search for the same recipe every time despite saving it every time.
Update is terrible
I have used this app for years with issues but it has been usable. Over that time I have saved countless recipes that I wish to keep coming back to. Since the update, my account seems to no longer exist, I had to login through newscorp (?) and reset my password. And after all that, all of my saved recipes are gone. Very frustrating. Especially after paying for the app while I wasn’t even able to use it!! Update - next issue with this app after the most recent update is that I am saving recipes and they are not ending up in my saved recipes collection!! I am losing my mind with this app it is beyond frustrating.
Not happy
What’s happened to this app? I can navigate through the new update but I’m a long time subscriber and it’s not recognising me as such. Keeps telling me I have used up my 10 free recipes and must subscribe to gain access! As a long term user I’m not happy. What do I do?
More than annoying!
I’m paying for this app and really like the Taste recipes but not happy after spending time saving recipes to have them disappear. What’s the point? Anyone have other apps to recommend?
Terrible shopping list.
Unlike every other cooking app that’s worth using this app can’t even bundle up all your ingredients. You have to go through each recipe one by one and add it all up. Not worth paying for when it is a pain to make a shopping list up each week for it.
