Add SmarTrip to Google Wallet:
- Open Google Wallet, tap “+ Add to Wallet”, choose “Transit Pass”, then “SmarTrip”
- In less than a minute you’ll have a new SmarTrip card in your Google Wallet and be ready to tap to pay for rides or parking anywhere SmarTrip is accepted.
If you need to do account management, then:
- Install this optional SmarTrip app to register your card for account balance protection, check SmartBenefits, setup Auto-Reload, or buy money-saving unlimited transit passes.

Thus app sucks. If you have an existing plastic card that's registered you can't use your phone to pay your fares. There is not even an option to add money to the app. Even if you remove the card off of the account
One of the worst apps I have ever used. Why does it need my birthdate and then not even have a decent date selector? And after I finally manage to create an account it won't let me login!
Easily the most incompetent customer service staff I have ever experienced. Advice was repeatedly incorrect and contradictory. Updating auto-reload — a basic capability — has been a nightmare.
It's a pretty good app for getting places and using the various metro services. THE WORST THING IS THE AUTO RELOAD; IT RELOADS 3 DAYS PRIOR TO EXPIRATION FOR A WEEKLY PASS! Definitely some bull for a weeklong visit and getting charged twice. Be sure to turn off auto renewal NOT JUST removing the payment method (do that too). Also, the preload some dollar value is glitchy and double charged. So, besides payment terms and policies that ruin it's value, it's great: Time updates, good GPS, search
Purchase does not work. Every time it says "canceled" then there is a pending withdrawal and deposit from my account

This is the worst app I have ever tried to use. First you can not select date you need to roll backwards from today's date. Really? Can not get any charge on a card. Who ever wrote this should give up coding. This is so bad.
