I think its a great app
Transferred from ViewRanger finding the app very poor in comparison. Since my first negative review of 2921, nothing much has changed. Despite what outdooractive said about how valued ViewRanger were, I didn't find this to be true. It even seems that I gave lost some functionalities. I gave s lot of time to Outdooractive to show how they valued customers. Nothing happened. I do not recommend. Get something from competitor. Minus stars
Took ages to sign up because activate account emails didn't do anything when clicked. Then gave me Pro+ without explanation. Was I being charged? It turned out to be a free trial because I'd used Viewranger. Unintuitive interface. Then I've spent ages trying to import GPX files but get "the file could not be loaded... it may be damaged or need access permissions." The app has access to my files and the GPX files import elsewhere. Now can't delete offline maps because not enough space to delete!
excellent, accurate, and adds value to a walk. not a battery hog either!
I do like this app very much. It's feature rich and with bags of content from users and official orgs. However, my biggest gripe is simply how confusing it is. There are so many ways to save/curate/discover routes that's it's really a pain navigating the various menus and lists. For instance, please explain what the difference is between My Map, Collections, Tracks ,Plans & Routes? The designers need to do a complete overhaul of the app to make it much more intuitive/simple.
Latest update has broken watch app so that tracking fails to start if started from watch to phone. Probably needed more testing before releasing . Having to start the tracking directly on the phone
Hi love the app but my mountains are now reading in feet instead of metres, how do I change this back please???
