This app uses the Device Administrator permission.

Works good for me. Definitely worth. Using it with macrodroid. 'Get status' does not work however.

No easy way to make as Device Owner using root, also keeps getting error telling me I have to make it as Device Admin, which I already did.
The une use I have for this, checking for failed unlocks, doesn't really work. It triggers after unlock, never before. Useless.
There is a BIG difference between device admin, which the description states is needed along with a few simple adb commands & can be easily granted, & device owner, which is also required, not made clear enough in the description, & requires a factory reset (no thanks). I wasted far too much time getting this set up & figuring out how to use it with MacroDroid (can't find instructions ANYWHERE), only to find I can't do what I was trying to do. This requirement needs to be made MUCH clearer.
Useful for Macrodroid
Can't set this app as device owner and use Google One for backups. Android 14. All I'm looking for is factory reset after x failed unlock attempts (and to have backups enabled). Can't get support from Google without signing up for a premium Google One storage account.
