ProtoPie Player for Wear OS

ProtoPie Player for Wear OS is a free companion app, part of the ProtoPie Smartwatch Solution—ProtoPie's offering for realistic smartwatch prototyping and fully immersive connected experiences involving a smartwatch.

View, experience, and test prototypes on a real Wear OS smartwatch easily.

Ideal for yourself, your colleagues, stakeholders, clients, or users. ProtoPie Player for Wear OS is perfect for quickly testing prototypes made with ProtoPie, getting prototypes in anyone's hands, and (remote) usability testing.

To open prototypes on your Wear OS device, connect ProtoPie Player to ProtoPie Connect (not ProtoPie Studio) via WiFi.

**After Installation :** 

- Put “gcs-ce.protopie.cloud” at ‘Enterprise URL’ and ‘connect’
- Login with :
    - ID : [[email protected]](mailto:[email protected])
    - PW: Protopie1!
- Now you get in to ProtoPie Connect!

**How to use with Smartwatch App :** 

1. Run ProtoPie Connect (1.10.0 and above) and make sure it’s running on the same network as the Wear OS device.  
    1. Disabling Bluetooth and smartphone pairing on Wear OS might help with connection on some older Wear OS devices. 
2. Run ProtoPie Player from the Wear OS device. (Screenshot1) 
3. You will see a list of machine/PCs which are running ProtoPie Connect in your network. Tap to connect the Wear OS device to ProtoPie Connect. (Screenshot2)
4. Once connected, you can run pie from ProtoPie Connect by selecting from list of network connected devices. (Screenshot3) 
5. Two finger double tapping on the pie allows you to see options for **Restart** and **Exit**.
