This is an excellent app to control our single camera livestream via OBS. The wifi operation allows you to change scenes from anywhere in the church. We appreciate the screen captured images to preview each camera preset. Thanks for supporting our online outreach by making this app available!
The last update will not let the app connect to our camera. We use this for church services, and this is very dissapointing. After research and extensive troubleshoting we were able to get it up and running again, butball our presets were erased in the update. We were staring a Gospel Meeting at the tme, and the timing of the update was inconvienient. But some of the new features are really cool.
Excellent app and easy to use. The only downside is that even with pan tilt zoom speed settings at minimum speeds the camera movement controls are still way too sensitive. Otherwise very good.
Great app for those who need the smooth control of a joystick controller but don't want to put out hundreds of $$. Not to mention the convenience of being able to open the app anywhere in the venue and dial in the camera.
I've had the app installed on both my LG v20 and my SM-T600 tablet, for over a year I'm pretty sure, and I'm also pretty sure I had paid for it. And I note tonight that it was not on my phone anymore. Just missing not installed. Reinstalled okay but did not pick up the camera configurations I had previously set. Not sure what that's about. Works fine when it isn't missing. :-)
Works well about 75% of the time. Like others have reported, some times it loses internet wifi connectivity fir no apparent reason despite the fact that the app device & the ptz camera are on their own private network, so that there should be network throttling/competition.
Extremely useful app. I can grab my phone and dial the camera in on the speaker without interrupting my work on the computer. Very smooth.
