Helping you protect what matters most is our top priority. That’s why we are offering you KnowYourDrive, a simple way to get on the road towards safety and savings.
KnowYourDrive helps you learn safer driving habits and gives you more control over how much you pay for car insurance.
After each household driver downloads the app at no cost, you’ll receive an introductory car insurance discount. The app then continues to monitor your driving behavior and show your progress, so you can keep learning and adjust your driving habits accordingly.
The app displays your discount, trip details, safe driving tips and keeps track of your streak of distraction-free trips. Additional detail is provided on your driving versus others who have the app.
And depending on how you drive, your policy will earn a program discount on your car insurance. Nice!
Please note that the KnowYourDrive app is available to invited American Family Insurance customers.

it's nice but if your phone isn't in a holder and it gets bumped, you are hit with a 'distraction' App doesn't always load or is slow.
good easy to understand
it isn't always accurate so I need to check it after every trip to insure correct information is xaptured
Super inaccurate garbage app. Froom speeding to brakes, it is collecting false information. Seems like the goal of the app is to collect and sell data to insurance companies so they can deem you as a bad driver and charge higher premiums.
The app hardly ever works. 8 times out of 10 the app won't even open or load.
Poor accuracy that makes a lot of false positive actions for touching the phone. So far I have noticed issues with the charge cable causing false interactions with the phone, also issues with car movements. I have noticed issues with data collection and accuracy of the statement made about data collection. Why is the data used and what pieces of data, when it is collected and how it is handled seems different.
Overall, a pretty smart app. What I don't think is a fair measure is the "hard braking." There are situations where you just can't avoid it.
Minor bug fix.
