The simplest yet most powerfull of the 'basics' I tried. The free is great, but I highly recommend the paid version. 👌

Some of the previous reviewers were right when they said the app has problems. Just using a simple goto command doesn't always work. In my program I want to loop using a goto command to go to a certain line and instead it goes all the way back to the beginning and I can't figure out why it's doing that. Also if you go to the settings & come back to your screen it highlights the screen in blue and wont go away unless its restarted. Regret paying for it. Should offer a trial first!
Absolute disfunctional garbage. Odd errors occur manual does not address. Currently adding a space with every keyboard entry, so "list" comes out "l I s t" and does not list. Cannot program at all due to this. Function key comes on then won't turn off. Enter text and can exit w/o killing app. Killing app and restarting does not fix.
Well after my negative review I had contact with the developer and after some enlightenment I have to change my rating. Although I do have trouble with the english used in the help files I have comee to a better understanding of how ths app is best utilised. Give this program a try and you could find some very useful functions.
I recommend for hobbyists only. Crashed after first 30-40 seconds of launch. Crash Report: 1. Basic was installed and opened 2,. A 1 line program print "Hello World" was written and run successfully 3. I checked settings to see if the virtual keyboard could be changed 4. I put my phone to sleep 5. I woke my phone up 6. There was a message box from Android saying Basic had stopped. I chose to restart it. 7. My 1 line Program was gone. Sleep must not cause app to stop and/or program loss.
Nice . But it would be great if a special function package is made available. For instance bessel , erf, erfc , etc. 😊
Copy/paste is now done via the common Android clipboard, making it possible to exchange data with other apps.
