The software turns your smartphone into MultiChannel Analyser (MCA) which get signal over the mic-input. Digital Pulse Processing module measures height of pulses and show result as a hystogram or a curve. This is an analog of PC-software, known as Pulse Recorder and Analyser (PRA). Designed and tested with AtomSpectra 3 hardware, but can be useful for any pulsed signal source with appropriate amplitude and bandwith. First of all intended for amateur gamma spectroscopy.
Try branded smartphones for best results.
Great spectroscopy tool. Brilliantly made!!!! Now we just need one for IPhones
Serious software.Definitely not for rank amateurs. No instruction manual on all the settings and variables but this is definitely a tool for real amateur nuclear science and serious hobbyists.

Very interesting and obviously does a good job. My sensor might be a problem but this software is great!

I really like this app, MCA is so nice to see. Still need to better understand the details of filter setting and connection to my preamp/shaper/sensors(pmt, sdd, siPIN, etc.). Also, how phone handles mic inputs/which is being used, removal of background noise, etc. Thanks Very good additions to the app. Would like to adapt it to look at low energy x-rays 1 to 16 Kev. XRF
Doesn't work with BPW34 on LG G7. Other similar apps work well.
