I just purchased my first ever Asustor NAS to replace my Onedrive. So far, it's good. I haven't had a problem so far, but the mobile apps need a little more updates and features. It's definitely average compared to the competition. Would love to see more updates on the software side! Keep up the good work, guys! 👊
Sorry, I don't trust any of your software after deadbolt attack. Ii've limited using all remote access features, apps included.
There is one major problem using this app & my Asustor Flashstor FS6. That is whatever you upload a folder full of media (e.g. a folder of 50 photos) once the folder is uploaded if you try to access it, the NAS become completely unresponsive. Why? That's because the NAS tries to cache all the images & create thumbnails etc. & maxes out the CPU (99%) whilst it's caching all the images. This means you cannot use this NAS in a business environment as it's useless if it becomes unresponsive
It just works.
Unusable. While logging in, if you switch to another app for the 2FF authentication code, the login form and process resets when you return to the AiData app. Meaning it's impossible to login.
Developer is very prompt to fix bugs and reply email.
Earlier I was able to set default app. Now I can choose the app but no options to set "just once" or "always". So I need to choose the app eveytime when I open the file, pdf in my case. Very annoying.. please fix this one.
- Photos can now be uploaded to the CIFS, USB and encrypted folders.
- Users can now upload files larger than 4GB to NAS shared folders.
- Miscellaneous issue fixed
- Improve stability
