Use the ShotView™ app to connect to your Xero® C1 Pro chronograph. After a shooting session is completed, see your ballistic data on the app, where it is organized and easy to interpret. Analyze shot data, including speed, deviation, extreme spread, kinetic energy and more — and export the raw data to CSV format. Exclude cold bore shots and other outliers from session calculations as desired. Create custom names for each session, add notes for specific shots, and mark clean bore and cold bore attributes for each shot. Filter by weapon type to quickly access specific sessions for review.
The ShotView™ app can send and save your recorded shot and session data to the cloud. You can access and use saved data on other phones or back up your data for future use. A Garmin account is required to store your data in the cloud.
This app is great. Connects instantly every time. Simple and easy. You don't need all that other garbage that doesn't work like velocities every foot, because b.c.'s are not relevant at 100 yards for most bullets. That's what truing is for. When a session is complete, data will automatically be sent to the app. Easy to edit session title, too. This app contains a notes section that is great. Remove/ turn off and on shots from the list and the data updates accordingly. Don't change anything!
App is currently broken. Will not sync any sessions, old or new from C1, even after reinstalling and multiple re-pairings.
The functionality is good, once you get your sessions transferred. However, every time I want to reconnect to my phone, I have to forget the device and pair it again. It will never reconnect on its own. Also the last session does not get synced to the app. A bit disappointed in this.
Easy to use, give the info that I require no issues. Would like if they can add the ability to add a photo of the group that you have shot. Also, add a standard template that you can log your load data like bullet, powder grain, case, overall length, primers used group result. Then, add an atmosphere condition std template altitude, temperature, barometric pressure, humidity, and density altitude. This would make it awesome. Job well done, Garmin
The app is basic at this stage, but mainly works. Unfortunately, the cloud sync feature did not work at all on any of my devices (phone or tablets from different manufacturers). I raised an issue with Garmin support and it now seems to have been fixed.
Xero is awesome. The app really sucks!! I can not get sessions to sync!
Some say this app is very basic. Yes, it is, but it does what it needs to do, which is reliably store and display velocity data. Lots of bells and whistles does not a good app make. That said, I would appreciate a simple and quick way to mark strings within a session. Not all rounds used in one session have the same load or velocity so the session summary stats can be meaningless. One downside for me: the cloud sync does not work at all for me.
