The app is glitchy, messy and rarely works the way it's supposed to. One week, it tells the store I'm there when I am not. Another week it invites me to approve substitutions but then doesn't let me. It sends me a stupid number of notifications that my groceries are going to be ready, they're almost ready, they're close to being ready, they're ready...but then crashes every time I tell it I'm on my way. I've given up using it.
I was blocked for absolutely no reason, and there's no way to get any support. When it did used to work, pickup never actually functioned correctly.
App won't open. It launches and immediately shuts down. I've tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it. It still won't open. It's been like this for about 5 or 6 days. So, the app is totally useless right now.
search is awesome. for example, "I used "Ben" to search for coupons, and it showed me nothing, even though there was a coupon for Ben & Jerry's. impossible to search and a pain to navigate.
Doesnt work anymore, crashes on clicking anything
I have been a regular Giant customer for over a decade. This app does not work anymore!!! The only two reasons to even use this app are to redeem rewards and clip coupons. Ever since Giant has become concerned with robots clipping coupons, it does not work. Who the heck cares if robots are clipping coupons?!?! Who would this hurt??? I tell you what does hurt: Every single time I pass the stupid robot test, the whole app just stops working. Why don't you just invent a "Clip All" coupons button?
You need to copy how the Safeway app works. No notification when my Giant order is ready and it won't let me tell them I'm on my way.
