United StatesEasyCode 2.0 is a mobile app for Self-Storage facilities to provide mobile gate access and security monitoring features for renters. The new and improved EasyCode takes away the hassle of remembering passwords by enabling a simple touch interface to open gates and doors at the storage facility. Plus, users can view their access history, get notifications when their unit alarm is triggered, and view access activity at their unit. Enjoy the convenience with EasyCode 2.0.
A note on app permissions. EasyCode 2.0 asks for permission for the following items.
Location - We use the device location to check that the user is actually at the storage facility before they can trigger gates or doors to open. For facilities equipped with Bluetooth beacons used for access control, location data is also used for their detection.
Phone - The app has a shortcut to dial the storage facility office, so permission to use the dialer is requested for that only. We do not access your contacts or phone history.
Microphone - The app has the ability to listen for voice commands to open gates or doors, so permission is requested for the microphone. All audio processing for the commands is done on the phone itself and no audio is transmitted to any servers, or recorded. This feature may be turned off in the settings if you wish, and will require that you log out of EasyCode and then log in again for the change to take effect.
Note: Storage tenants using the app must ask the manager of their facility for help if they are having a problem with the app. Because we have no way to determine a particular tenants status with a site and for other security reasons, we cannot directly help a tenant.
The app hardly ever works, back to manually opening gates and shutters. Have tried resetting, rebooting, deleting and reloading the app - nothing.
Worst app ever. Trash. The app works poorly if at all. The password reset doesn't work. Even the storage company can't figure it out. They have given up on it
Not working, won't change password, keeps looping you through reset without actually letting you reset.
Stopped working, locked me out of account. Email gets a failure, website is a mess, no support in app. My facility manager claims to have put in a ticket weeks ago.
Once a great app that would open the gate at my storage unit, hasn't worked at all in months. Can't enroll, can't sign in, always says 'invalid password or email' which is not right, because I know for a fact the info is correct. And to further prove this point, I click 'Forgot Password', then it sends me a link to change the password. Once I type in the new password, it just sits there, with the spinning icon, and does nothing. Nothing. This once awesome app, has turned into an absolute joke.
This app is useless. It won't let me enroll and I've confirmed the credentials. I'll revisit the rating if this is ever fixed. Right now it's garbage.
Well, initially this would have been a 3 or 4 star rating, but recently I changed phones and when trying to use the app with the new phone it has not worked at all. Tried resetting password several times, no luck. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling app, no luck. So since I'm not able to use the app anymore, the rating has gone down to 1.
