It's finally here! The companion mobile app to the Amazing Marvin productivity suite.
Plan your day and work off your task list from anywhere. Add tasks and manage your master list anytime you need to. (All the bonus features you know and love from the web app will soon be integrated into the app as well)
IMPORTANT NOTE: Marvin is a paid application. In order to use the mobile app you need to have a Marvin account. You can try Marvin for free for 30-days here: https://amazingmarvin.com
WHY SHOULD I USE MARVIN?
Marvin is built using principles from behavioral psychology to help you get more done. It reduces overwhelm and stress, curbs procrastination, and increases productivity.
The font size for task notes is too small. Need to move tasks around the master list with ease. The idea of Marvin is great but the execution on both the web app and mobile need some work. At $96/yr sub, I expected better.
Tried half a dozen, this is the only task organisation app that has ever worked for me. Used it daily for half a year now. The main reason it works for me is its customisable "strategies" feature. Essentially you can turn major features on and off and force the app to work for you, unlike other tools that force you to conform to their ideas of how to manage your tasks/productivity. I also like how easily I can use it for both personal and work purposes, and combine them to one list if I want.
The Amazing Marvin team are great. The website is incredible, the mobile app is a simplified version with less features but under continual development. It's also great to support a small business in tech!
The website is way better than this app. The app is missing some important features.
Great application that is flexible ebough to meet all of my task management needs. I've also seen bug reports and improvement suggestions implemented and rolled out within a month of them being raised, which is ridiculously responsive in the best way.
Wish I could give more stars but it's a 'meh' experience. I don't expect it to have all the features as the web app but I should at least be able to do some things like turning a task into a recurring task. I wish the whole UI would be improved. It seems very clunky to me, as does the web app. I also find that I accidentally open up links for tasks that are links from websites I saved. I love the idea and features of Marvin, but the execution on the Android app needs to be improved.
Great service meh app, the app has a ton of problems. Which makes sense because it's an extremely complex app with being so customizable but the app is just not the selling point. Timers will not run in the background, task notifications aren't really a thing. If you want a portable place to take your tasks it works. It mostly works for me but I wish it was better. I love the service otherwise
