The free version MUST be installed with this app. It just checks to see that this key is installed and then unlocks all features. You may need to force stop the free app or reboot your device before the key is detected.

START-UP SCREEN This feature allows you to select the start-up screen. Options include Folders, Albums, Tags, Ratings, etc.
★ Note for Kit Kat users: Google has removed write permissions on the SD card for ALL third party apps. We do have a workaround we implemented in v3.1+, but it does not work on all devices including the S5 and some Xperia devices.

Feel free to try this out. I happen to have a Pro version and Duckduckgo's App Tracking Prote ction lists about 8000 tracking attempts past 7 days. This is disgusting.
Excellent .....even better than QuickPic.
The best gallery for Android, hands down, with plenty of settings. Minus one star as the latest version has a bug that it does not always load full res image when zooming to 100%. And because tap on left/right area is still way too big, making it impossible to double tap zoom on side parts of the image when enabled, as it always changes image (especially annoying in landscape orientation). Please add an option to customize the tap area size. It's not a big development effort.
This is an outstanding gallery app. By storing ratings, tags, titles and other key information in the metadata (EXIF, IPTC and XMP), it is possible to organise the media files more effectively, for example when F-Stop tools such as Search and Smart Albums are used. The metadata can be read by other digital asset management apps such as Adobe Lightroom and Digikam, and titles and tags are also visible in Microsoft OneDrive. Good help information is available and technical support is excellent.
