Th CJ app is laughable. Lately one cannot open the e edition bc an advertisement that covers the front page must be deleted before one can read the paper, and that ad does not fully open so one cannot get the news paper open. This is just one of many frustrations, but if you can't read the e edition what is the point of having the CJ?
too sensitive swipe. constantly adjusting
This app was working. Then all of a sudden, it wasn't. Cleared the cache, and it still shut down after viewing the front page a couple of seconds after opening the app. Tried 3 more times unsuccessfully. Hope it gets fixed. I've been a long time subscriber and hate to cancel. Un-installed it and installed it once and it still stops.
Terrible, destroyed easy printing of puzzles. No new benefits seen.
Why did CJ insist on fixing something that was not broken?! App is very difficult and complex to navigate! Also can be very clunky and unresponsive! Most of all, I'm sure the previous version will ultimately be disabled and readers who feel the same as me will be forced into assimilation. Resistance is futile!
"If it ain't broke, don't try to fix it". The new app is impossible to navigate, difficult to use and has a poor readibility. If you discontinue the prior app, I will be forced to terminate my subscription. How long was the app in beta testing and what market did the testing. Obviously it was not the average consumer.
Doesn't work half the time and when is does its blotchy.
