The variety of sounds to pick from is awesome. I love the baby classics like heartbeat, vaccum and hairdryer. The volume slider is really helpful so I can slowly bring the noise up to the level I want, and i really appreciate that it doesn't just cut off after the time is up, it fades out really nicely. I've got this downloaded on an old phone as a dedicated noise machine for the baby room and on my phone when we're out of the house. Awesome app!
I really like the interface, everything is spot on and user friendly. What I don't like and really hope it gets improved is that the sound(hairdryer here) alters its tone and volume when you open other apps on the phone. This bug alone scares my kid Edit: ok thanks for clearing things up. So the app alone works fine, only when other apps are being opened it increases volume
Works great with my son inuse this almost all day and night. App has ads on the bottom but it does not pop up or make the hard to use. 5 stars because its simple, works well, no limit on length of time, andit can mix the sounds which is awesome. Also to note if you set the timer the music fades away at the end which is much better than just stopping.
I don't usually review things, but I had to review this INCREDIBLE app I have twins and this has been a LIFE SAVER. I can use it on the go in the car since it doesn't use data or wifi... We were using Spotify playlists of rain before. It stays consistent all night long and we haven't had any issues with it in the last 6 months we've used it. I LOVE this app with all my heart. It even helps me go to sleep!!
Very simple and straightforward UI that gets right to the point. Lots of different options for white noise but once I found the one I liked it's just a matter of opening the app and pressing the play button, which is perfect since I don't want to have to navigate an annoying interface while I'm getting ready to sleep. I also like that it's a simple ad-supported app, with no subscriptions or dark patterns trying to extract more money out of you.
You can mix sounds and adjust the volumes of each sound. There are no audible ads interrupting the white noise, just a simple graphic banner ad at the bottom of the screen. You can set a timer for the noise and also set the time to infinity. We used this while traveling with our baby and it worked great for our family! I even use this over Bluetooth in the car when stuck in traffic to encourage sleep continuation. Excellent product!
I really like this app. I have a portable air conditioner that produces just the right sounds I prefer when sleeping, but this can emulate those very well. There are MANY choices for noise generation. The one suggestion I'd have is to tint the icons so that the user can more readily choose between "white", "pink", and "red/brown" noises. I'm betting it's largely preferences that make someone choose between them.
