Edit: thanks for quick response. I found it was working fine if I didn't sign in. I signed in with my google account previously. Trying this as a replacement for Google Podcasts. I really like it but there's a huge issue. I imported my OPML file which has 124 subscriptions, but most of them disappeared after a while, I ended up with 52 subscriptions. I have uninstalled and reinstalled for several times and it happened every time. Any idea why and how to solve it?
Ad free and easy to use
4/23/24 - Can't send bug report! 3/6/24 - Using Podcast Republic causes Android Auto to crash every time it's used. All other apps work fine, but the moment I press play on any podcast episode using Podcast Republic, it causes Android Auto to crash and disconnect from my car. I have to uninstall Android Auto and then reinstall it. All other apps work fine again. But press play on an episode in Podcast Republic, it immediately crashes and disconnects again. What is happening here?!?
I switched to this from Google Podcasts. It supports importing all my subscriptions from the OPML file Google Podcasts exports. Seems to do everything I need in a sensible way. Chapter support and episode thumbnails are nice features that I didn't have before.

Don't know why there's a "pause download" button when it does nothing, if I restart the app sometimes it works, but then I try and select what I want downloaded...and the garbage decides to just...do whatever it wants, love that, who doesn't want an app that ignores the buttons you press, right? It's like when your computer just restarts and wipes everything you were working on, or how every social media feed is just full of recommendations rather than who you follow, who hates that?!
Like the app but I have a huge problem. After google chopped off the podcast app, tried to replace it with podcast republic. Created an account and impoterd my opml. I have 240 podcast subscribed but everytime I import them, after finishing, they'll disappear and on reopening only 40 or 30 of them are showing. Tried to reinstall or delete and recreate the account several times. Still the same since February. So I had to move to another app that I do not like as much as this one.
