A hospital environment can seem intimidating at first. “My Health Journey”, created by the Brain Timor Foundation, is designed to entertain as well as make your child feel more comfortable in this new environment. Play is a wonderful outlet for your child to process and learn to express fears and anxieties. “Medical Play”, like the interactivity in this app, allows children to become familiar with medical equipment and experiences in a way that provides a healthy outlet for frustration, anger and anxiety.
