can't believe offline maps and .gpx uploads are a premium feature. Uninstalled for a better, FREE, maps app instead as the free version of this is less than basic.
Again an untested update. Now every time you open the app it opens at standard maps despite the legend saying leisure maps. You have switch to and from yo get back the leisure maps
Uninstalled on all devices because it is now terrible after update. Had bought several paper maps with free download onto the app, worked well previously. Now app is exceptionally user UNfriendly and my previously downloaded maps are nowhere to be seen. Screen full of adverts for the premium version - I feel ripped off after buying the paper maps, no doubt for a premium, and expecting it to be easy to use the maps on my tablet. Lost all faith in OS. Stick to the paper maps and abandon the app.
VERY DISAPPOINTED. The app only record's your activity when you have your phone open on the app. If you lock your phone and put it in your bag, the app stops recording. Making it completely useless to keep track of your progress. I spoke to OS they suggested to keep your phone activated for the duration of your activity. Doing that will drain your battery quickly and make it impossible to call the emergency services if needed. I feel like OS haven't tried using the app out in the real world
Whatever has happened? It's slow, downloaded maps don't load, frequently crashes and so on. My subscription expires in 4 weeks but no point renewing. UPDATE Reinstall seems to have improved things.
an excellent resource
Always loved this app and have been a premium member for a few years. But i am now very disappointed in new app. Before the update, I could use AR view on my Samsung phone, but now it isn't available, as the same camera which was compatible with the older app no longer works with AR on the update . Why does progress and software updates like this always seem to be worse than the previous version. Doubt if I'll renew my subscription when the time comes.
